Listening to . . . IAMX – You Can Be Happy

After months of planning and working on my enameled pendants for Artomatic, I am finally done! It was super close and I managed to push the wire an extra four minutes so I could stay under it. My last piece came out of the kiln at 10:04 pm (my class ends at 10). Luckily I am done and when I got home my 1,000 postcards were waiting for me. I am pretty happy with them and hope that 1,000 is enough, although it would be nice if I ran out and had to order more (so long as people don’t grab them and toss them out).

My sister has also finished making my guestbook and cutting out my matboards. It is so nice to have talented siblings who like to assist. She will be rewarded with good food this weekend. I’m thinking brunch at Marvin . . . I have dreams about their applewood smoked bacon, egg and cheese on a waffle sandwich . . . amazing.
